BAE Systems HybriDrive® propulsion system has been installed on a wide array of bus models for many manufacturers. Our systems are used on hybrid Orion buses as well as other hybrid Daimler buses, hybrid New Flyer buses, hybrid Isuzu buses, hybrid Iveco buses, and hybrid Alexander Dennis Limited buses.
We can adapt our systems for specific regional requirements as well. In London we adapted our systems for double decker hybrid buses. In New York we adapted our systems for exact acceleration needs specific to the curves of the routes. In San Francisco we adapted our systems with a unique hill hold feature for better hybrid control in very vertical terrain. In Houston we adapted our systems with an auto-shutdown feature.
